Mar 2003 – Apr 2007 Licensing Compliance Manager
·         Promoted to the Licensing Department to provide thought leadership and ended up re-engineering the department's processes, procedures, and Computer/IT systems converting a web-based non-functioning application to a feature-rich MS Word/Merge and MS Excel (using functions, filters, conditional formatting, etc.) reporting system. Previously, there were no reports and no systems, but annual renewals had to be performed, so I had to make it happen. 
·         Identified functional requirements and developed computer and document management systems (IT function) which ensures timely compliance according to state government regulations to provide annual operating licenses (~7000 applications) for retailers to be able to legally sell lottery tickets.
·         Developed enterprise level processes and documentation including illustrations and step-by-step instructions.
·         Led the Product Automation of the printing of pre-filled applications and daily workflow reports tracking all activities to process a new or renewed license for cross-functional departments including Licensing, Finance, Sales, and Legal.
·         Led and trained Lottery staff to perform daily, quarterly, and annual functions, performed criminal background checks and provided information to the Auditor on an as-needed basis for internal investigations.
·         Responsible for the data transmission effort by serving as liaison to the Department of Revenue to create the process of transmitting data across the network using secure network and performed financial background check.

Jan 2002 – Mar 2003 Quality Analyst / Project Manager
·         Led the testing effort and performed the duties of the Quality Analyst to test all gaming systems to run a $20 million per week lottery business. This was done during start-up of the lottery, which was the most critical time of the lottery.

·         Served as the QA / Project Coordinator on lottery game release projects using Microsoft Project to update project plans, ensure consistency, flow, identifying risks, and for adherence to schedule. Converted the Project file to an automated test suite.
